Subj : BH&G 1748 To : ALL From : DAVE DRUM Date : Sun Feb 07 2021 12:11:00 MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06 Title: Ravioli With Sage Butter Categories: Pasta, Herbs Yield: 6 Servings 18 oz (2 pkg) refrigerated or - frozen cheese ravioli 1 tb Olive oil 12 Whole fresh sage leaves 6 tb Butter 2 tb Coarse chopped fresh sage 1/2 ts Chopped fresh thyme 1/2 ts Salt 1/4 ts Black pepper 2 tb Chopped fresh flat-leaf - parsley Cook ravioli following package directions. Drain. Meanwhile, heat oil in medium-size skillet over high heat. Add sage leaves; fry about 1 minute on each side or until lightly crisped. Transfer to paper toweling. In same skillet, melt butter over medium-high heat, letting butter brown slightly. Stir in chopped sage, thyme, salt and pepper. Place ravioli on serving platter. Pour herb butter over top. Sprinkle with chopped parsley. Garnish with fried sage leaves. Serve immediately. Makes 6 servings.
