Subj : BH&G 1689 To : ALL From : DAVE DRUM Date : Mon Feb 01 2021 15:27:00 MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06 Title: Whole Grain Spaghetti w/Asian Peanut Sauce Categories: Pasta, Vegetables, Nuts, Poultry Yield: 4 Servings 6 oz Dried whole grain spaghetti 2 lg Carrots; shaved in ribbons - w/vegetable peeler 4 oz Fresh snow pea pods 1/2 x A red bell pepper; seeded, - in thin strips 1 c Chopped cooked chicken 3 tb Natural creamy peanut butter 3 tb Soy sauce 2 tb Rice vinegar 2 tb Honey Cook spaghetti according to package directions, omitting salt and adding carrots, pea pods, and sweet pepper for the last 1 minute of cooking. Drain, reserving 2/3 cup of the cooking water. Return pasta mixture to pan. Stir in chicken; cover and keep warm. In a small saucepan combine peanut butter, soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, and the reserved cooking water. Cook and stir over medium heat until peanut butter is melted and mixture is smooth.
