If it’s a power issue then it has to persist for minutes while the firmware is trying to boot (BOOT_ORDER=0xf461, so it loops around candidate devices indefinitely if it can’t find anything suitable) but instantly stop as soon as it’s loaded the kernel from the boot partition on the SD card.
