In the beginning (maybe in 2000? something like that) I did send out a number of PYTHON releases since it was not really "known" so much in the beginning. Now for linux at least, it's better if people use their OS file updater to keep up to date. Is the same with Windows, or do you have to go to the PYTHON home page and grab it?
