Apple has once again promised to invest $100 billion in production capacity in the U.S. They've made many promises... Yesterday, Apple's stock rose by 5%.

Trump has indicated there will be a 100% import tariff on semiconductors. The only way to avoid it is to promise you will build factories in the U.S... Hence Apple's promise.
