I never even knew such legislation was passed, so I doubt "vote for us because we allow fewer scam calls" will carry much weight. Most people are on their guard for scam calls now. Maybe it was just coincidence and a critical mass of people are on guard for scam calls that the call centers simply shut down due to lack of morons to fall for their scams. ....
