No, the running and nominating a candidate well into congnitive decline, hiding the advanced state of that cognitive decline for 4 years then nominating a weak candidate as a replacement when they finally wake up and see the error of their ways, got Trump re-elected.

Not to mention the large magority of the Amerifan public has the memory of a fruit fly, once something/someone is out of the lime light.
