Ask a New Yorker if they think marijuana should be legal, and they'll say "Yea, weed is pretty harmless, let the people smoke it."

That's logical. But here's the problem: Democrats.

They legalized marijuana (fixed a problem) then people started selling it illegally (caused a problem) and now Democrats have allocated $5 million dollars to crack down on illegal sales (fix a problem they created.)

Weed is too expensive in the recreational stores. It's like $40 an 1/8th, and they charge a whopping 15% excise tax on it. Who's gonna pay that much for weed? Not me! And not anybody else who is accustomed to paying $10 a gram.

To me it's insanely contradictory to hear news of the state "cracking down on illegal marijuana sales." What's illegal about it? It's marijuana and it's
legal. No license? Big f'n deal. Who cares? Why don't they spend $5 million dollars cracking down on illegal immigrants instead?
