Aren't property taxes adjusted every year? My wife tried to decode the information the bank gave us and said that the property tax only went up slightly but that this increase in our monthly payment has something to do with the city's decision to take payments once a year instead of twice a year like they have in the past.

It's confusing. Some of this stuff goes over my head, but the part that doesn't go over my head is... that they want me to pay an extra $100 per month :(
