You're so hyper-focused on sending a few billion to Ukraine that you're just ignoring the wasteful spending here at home. For instance, the F-22 Raptor - it's going to cost $9.2 billion to keep 151 of them in service over the next 5 years. that's _IF_ Congress allows the military to divest the 32 oldest F22s. If not, it's going to cost cosiderably more. That's $12.2 million per year, per fighter jet. Now, don't get me wrong, I love the F-22. I've had the opportunity to see one close up, and I've seen what they can do in the air - they're amazing. But They're a money pit. We've given Ukraine $83.4B since 2022 (source: https://www.ukraineoversight.gov ). we can probably tack on some more billions there if we include the cost of logistics and training. In comparison, our defense budget over the last 3 years has been about $2.5 TRILLION so Ukraine has received 3% of our defense budget. I'm pretty sure the government spends more than that on toilet seats. Mike ....
