That is normal in most states that I know of. It is called overriding a veto. They do it in my state, they do it in neighboring states, and they do it on the Federal level. Does the NY state legislature not have the power to override a governor's veto? If they have enough of a majority, the Governor can veto it rather than sign it, and then the legislature has a chance to override the veto and make it law anyway. > MP> See above. So it wouldn't be too surprising if they're also behind this anti-gay > stuff. Not "funding" but "fundies" as in fundamentalists. There are plenty of them around who like sticking it to whoever they think is "in sin" while hoping no one looks too closely at whatever underhanded stuff they get up to during the 6.5 days a week they are not in church. Gays, leftists, people who are not religious enough to suit them, people of other religions, single moms, etc., are all sinful to them and they have no issue with their voted-upon representative (likely Republican) sticking it to those groups. * SLMR 2.1a * The worst ice cream flavor is probably squirrel. --- SBBSecho 3.20-Linux * Origin: capitolcityonline.net * Telnet/SSH:2022/HTTP (1:2320/105) .
