I've seen some lame ransomware attempts on my android phone too. It said "Your phone is infected! Click here to get it fixed!" (or something like that.)

But it was poorly made, because I think all I had to do was close the browser tab and I was good to go.

I assume that there is some kind of a hierarchy of ransomware, and that maybe the stuff made for businesses is more well-written.
