The Anointed will simply have to use their god-like power to command more

The real problem is the grid.  It's already stretched thin and the tree-huggers
won't want to update/expand it.  More electricity is not useful if you can't
get it to those who need it.

But that's irrelevant.  All this "doubling our electric supply" is just an
excuse for more tax money laundering into projects that never finish or even
come close to what they said.  How about that high-speed in California?
