We already have the 12th Amendment.

But the problem is the details.  Who decides that a president is unfit for
office?  The Founders thought that Congress should.  But they didn't think
about what would happen if Congress were compromised as well.

It's already illegal.  If only the DOJ weren't compromised and would actually
enforce the law.
