Like copper, the lead scaling is pretty thin, but is non-reactive (for the most
part).  So it simply stops the leaching of lead into the water.

Most places still have lead pipes and they replace them over time as needed
since it's very expensive to dig everything up, replace them, cover them back
up - and put everything (like the roadway) back.

Flint, run by Democrats, never had that in their plans.

Yup.  We are in a storm of propaganda.  Pick a scare and someone is exploiting
it.

The only large quantities of lead poisoning seem to only happen in Democrat run
areas - so that news is suppressed.  The only time we see a scare like this is
to hurt a Republican.  In the case of the Flint Lead "Crisis", it was to
tarnish our Republican Governor at the time.
