Bear in mind that Donald Trump was not re-elected until everyone got a
chance to see just how bad Biden was.

Carter was a great leader in places other than the Presidency, though.  His
work with Habitat for Humanity and other similar efforts brought a lot of
attention to the cause.  He may have also been a good Governor.  As I was
not, and have never been, a Georgia resident I cannot speak to that one way
or the other.

If they had said "great President," that would be true in comparison to
Biden but not in the grander scheme of things.  As is, unless the context
was specifically about his presidency, I am not sure it is a lie.

He was one of the best *ex*-Presidents we've ever had.
