Letting Joe off for doing basically the same thing does not bode well for
this particular case.  They need not waste any more tax money on this one
and pursue others.  Otherwise, his defense team can argue that a precident
was set with Joe's case.

Except that the US media has started to confirm that things are not right
at the border, too.

Only among those who want to wish it so.  History will not likely be
so kind.  The botched Afghanistan pull out, the lapse of peace agreements
in the Middle East, his debate performance that lead to his being replaced,
and Hunter's legal woes coupled with what might be the largest blaket
pardon in history will all tarnish that legacy.
