Oh nice what distro? My wife also uses Linux Ubuntu. It's fine for her needs. 
I would like to use it too but I play World of Warcraft and have been for the past 20 years. I have seen this being played through a WINE 
- a windows eliminator - was my understanding. It was kinda buggy of a process.
I might in the future because linux is always improving as it is open-source.
