What you just said is not true... the number of 70% comes when people are asked if women can have an abortion in the first trimester... That number drops significantly for late term abortion.

If the Democrats would agree to first-term limits and non-elective late-term they'd have the votes today to codify the abortion laws... but they want unrestricted access and have women chose to have an elective abortion on the day of delivery.

BTW, 60% of the late-term abortions performed were not for health reasons... to save the mother's live... but because she wanted to take a Mulligan.
