Gabbard usually speaks sensibly, which I very much appreciate, and is a
good example of a sensible person switching parties.

Speaking sensibly means she also interviews well.

To run for Congress from Hawaii, where she lives, as a Republican would be
an uphill battle.  As best as I can tell, Trump has plans for her in his
administration should he win in November, and that is likely the best place
for her right now (unless she moves to, and establishes residency in, a red
or purple state).
