Ohhhh Alan... You've lived through sooooooooo many hurricanes living there in BC... and FEMA has came to all those hurricanes you went through... there in Canada that we should make you the expert in such matters.

Having lived in Florida I have been through multiple hurricanes, five in 1 year.  And as a resident of the United States I was able to experience first hand FEMA at work... Having said that... I was/am shocked at FEMAs response in North Carolina, in particular.

At first I completely blamed FEMA, but I was reminded of who was in charge, and that is the Governor.  In Florida the Governor seems to be micro managing the hurricane response, as it is his job. Whereas I don't see any huge response from the NC Governor.

The NC Governor should be right out in front... I think more people will die because of the way things are handled than was actually killed by the storm.

BTW, there is a video of Joe Biden threatening people who complain about the way his administration's handling of the current hurricanes.

I'll yield back to your expertise on this matter given that you live in a different country and you're in a high risk zone for hurricanes.
