Isn't it difficult to be an expert about something that you didn't see firsthand? Would you bet your life on the accuracy of a history book?

The history books didn't say anything about slavery being illegal, at least not until Republicans made it illegal in the 1860s.

I've never called anyone that. I refer to people as "people" but Democrats refer to them by color.
