There has been zero indication of this in the local press, who is indeed
*still* reporting on the story.  All indications are he is a dude with
survivalist training, who is a former army reservist who knows how to use guns,
and who is very familiar with the area in question.

I don't need RonL to interpret the local news for me.  If you are not hearing
about it in Florida, I cannot help you there.  Maybe you need to watch the news
instead of youtube.
