In times past, folks did not talk about such things.
In todays world, folks are open and much more honest.
That is the difference between then, and now.

IOW, gays and lesbians, along with trans, have always been there. But
swept under the rug, as if they were some kind of incurable disease.

That was what our society wanted back in those days. So that is
what it got back. Until Barack Obama came along and gave everybody
hope. And change. That is what killed eveerything.

Gays and lesbians have been around since time immemorial. Even
those who are pretending to be one or the other have been around
since the very beginning.

And those gays and lesbians (along with trans) will still be around
for ages to come. After all, that is what we are all here for. Hope
and change. For all it is worth.

The founders of the Boy Scouts of America were gay. Does that mean
that all boy scouts are gay? Or that many in the past were gay? What
does it matter anyway? Scouting is scouting, regardless of whether
a kid is a boy, a girl, or trans. Which might explain wny the boy
scouts changed its name to scouting. Just plain scouting.

Girl scouts are a different matter entirely. Boys can never be
members of the girl scouts. Even though girls (and trans) can be
members of what used to be the boy scouts. Unnerstan'?
