It's too easy to armchair quarterback these things.

Having a kid get bullied at school does things. You want your kid to be able to stand up against those that are putting him down. You also have a reponsibility to facilitate that in a manner that complies with the social contract.

It's a tough thing to deal with. Like you said, there were a lot of failures here.

As far as the gun issue... I'm tired of beating this stick with a dead horse. Not touching it.
