If he can't do it then nobody should be able to either. This has been going on for years, though. Springsteen was "upset" several years ago because lots of people were using "Born in the USA" at events as if it was a patriotic, and not a protest, song. The Eagles apparently go after anyone who uses their music in a video on YT. There is someone on the FTN networks who ran into that after the played part of one in one of their videos. Someone else I follow had to edit the sound in one of his videos because the Eagles were playing in the background on the radio during part of it. In come cases, it is political -- i.e. artist likes candidate A but candidate B is the one using their music. There are supposedly a lot of artists that do like Trump so he should probably stick to using their music. If you are going to use commercial music, especially in cases that might make you money (or raise money for a campaign), it is best to get the permission of the artist first. * SLMR 2.1a * Overhead the albatross hangs motionless upon the air... --- SBBSecho 3.20-Linux * Origin: capitolcityonline.net * Telnet/SSH:2022/HTTP (1:2320/105) .
