If you don't really have a good relationship to begin with, there is no reason whatsoever to remain "loyal" to someone that can't keep their mouths shut and goes off on you publicly. To turn this around, does Trump remain loyal to those who question, or badmouth, him? He sure does not... they get tagged immediately as RINO! > MP> Trump isn't W's boss. The way I see it is Trump *was* everyone's > boss while he was president. Nope, nope, nope-a-ty-nope. He was our *President*. He was only the boss of those working directly for his administration or those working in the federal government. The rest of us are free citizens who are alowed to speak our minds. It is called Freedom of Speech, and is one of the differences between having a President and a Dictator. Now, should we respect the office as citzens? Yes. Do we have to go along with everything a President says? No. Do we have to sit quietly if he insults us personally? No, we can verbally defend ourselves. Most of us have spent the good part of the past 3+ years speaking out publicly here against things said and done by the current President. Does that make us "bad employees"? Should we just shut our yaps and tough it out until the term is over? > But I agree totally with that last part: he shouldn't say the quiet > parts outloud. If he could get that through his head, we'd probably not be having this conversation. * SLMR 2.1a * Usually a man with flowers has deflowering in mind... --- SBBSecho 3.20-Linux * Origin: capitolcityonline.net * Telnet/SSH:2022/HTTP (1:2320/105) .
