I don't doubt that the military industrial complex is enjoying these times.

When someone invades you, your choices are either to sit back and let it
happen or to fight.  Meanwhile, others profiteer off of it.

Just thinking of what many say we are doing here... sitting back while our
Southern border is invaded... it seems that people seem to understand why
that is not a good option.

Indeed.  I can remember when it was mostly the other side that tried
"spreading democracy" in places we should keep our business out of.  In W's
defense, that area was screwed up long before he got involved.  We have a
couple of World Wars and the British to thank for some of that, and the
Russians and British to thank for others.  Our government trying to take
over meddling where the Brits left off was not and has never been a good
idea.
