It's ironic that he apparently read and understood the BBBS sysop's guide, which is a difficult read, and not straightforward. But show him something that's easy to understand, and he don't get it.

Some people need to be challenged in order to get their brain in gear. This stuff we tell him is too simple. Next time I'm gonna try telling him in a long, convoluted, difficult to understand way, and see how that goes.
