I need to record that Thomas Sowell quote, so you'll have to do with my
paraphrasing.

The Ignorant Elitists evaluate their policies based on the **intent** of those
policies, not the actual outcomes.

Ex: Minimum Wage.  The (stated) intent is to give everyone a raise.  The
outcome is to reduce jobs.  Yet the Ignorant Elitists keep pushing Minimum
Wage.

Now it's "price controls on groceries" (aka "stop gouging for food").  The
intent is to lower food prices.  The outcome is **always** scarcity of food.
