I am sure there is more to it than just "too hot" but, yes, you should certainly expect the insides of a greenhouse will be much hotter than outside. That is sort of the point. If it gets too hot, they open the windows, which makes it as hot as outside. They are not going to be air conditioned as it is bad for the plants. I wonder if he was mixed up with the giant greenhouse company that came in and set up shop with some promises only to go broke roughly a year later?
