Do you speak German? That would have been the end result had FDR
bent the knee to Hitler. But we chose the better path. To defend
not only ourselves, but also our friends. Hitler did not like
that. And neither did Mussolini. Or Tojo.

Raising the white flag is not an act of diplomacy.
Refusing to aid allies in times of war is also not
an act of diplomacy.

NATO has Article V. It has been invoked one time, by the USA,
when it was attacked on 9/11. GWB did not raise the white flag,
and also refused to negoatiate with the terrorists who did the
deed. NATO came to our aid, and helped us in our time of need.

Trump wants to pull the USA out of NATO. And act alone.

Gonna be a fun Olympics in L.A. with only one country participating.
