Society has a right to protect itself. We have prisons to keep
bad guys locked up for life. So why the need for a death penalty?

It was Secretary Austin's right to make the call. The President
stayed out of it.

Enemy combatants in Cuba have no voting rights. Letting them die
in prison is the perfect solution. Nobody even has to know.
