 You are trying to bend a statistic or fact to fit your narrative rather than adjust your narrative to fit the full slate of available data.

 That's LITERALLY the Chewbacca defense.

 Statistically speaking, 0 people died as a result of an electric automobile catching fire during a 15 minute interview. The interview could have gone on for a week or more straight and it's still quite likely 0 people whould have died from an EV fire.

 according to data from the NTSB, electric vechiles are the least likely to catch fire.  Hybrid vehicles, however, are the most likely.
