That would explain it, and I was hoping to hear that from the media, but nope. Haven't heard it anywhere.

It could be true that crossings are down, and we'd never know the difference. I don't think we can rely on CBP data, and we definitely can't rely on what anyone else has to say about it. But what has either Biden or Harris done to make that plausible? (Not enough!)

I've heard that narrative too. The media probably forgot that some of us are still waiting patiently for the verdict on those root causes.

On a side note, I don't recall Biden ever saying "I'm putting Kamala in charge of solving the problem," just "I'm putting Kamala in charge of finding
out the root causes." I'm honestly not concerned about anyone's "root causes," I just want them stopped, but that was never promised in the first place. :(
