The plan was never on the backburner. It's been active since the 1960's.  The
only difference is that it's become more overt while at it's start it was very
subtle.

Based on what I've seen from Chinese tech products, I'm not worried.

I envision this:
+ All the robots lined up and ready for commands.
+ They are given the command of "Go kill..."
+ But before the command can be completed, a cat goes "Meow Hssss".
+ So the robots go off and kill all the Mao-ists.

Joking aside, the Chinese economy is very close to collapse.  They won't have
the resources to do anything soon.

Which is probably one of the reasons that the Leftists have moved forward more
quickly with their plans.
