The process for this would have been for Congress to Impeach at the time, since
it was an official act.

But we knew this was going to be the outcome.  Osama, Obiden and Bush did FAR
worse things in office.  There was no way that they were going to let the
immunity rule go away.

This was an Impeachable offence and Congress should have acted.

The Founding Fathers didn't think about what happens when more than one branch
acts AGAINST the people.  The 'checks and balances' were supposed to prevent
this.
