Subj : Only stupid MAGAs think that one person runs the government To : Aaron Thomas From : Bj”rn Felten Date : Fri Jul 05 2024 10:00:33 Aaron Thomas -> Ken Nischan skrev 2024-07-04 17:20: AT> That's a good point but just consider the fact that the media is on a AT> collective mission to encourage people to vote Democrat so that AT> Democrats can enable their foreign donors to play God inside our country. What a typical MAGA projection. The Constitution clearly says that the only income a president shall have during his/her four years is what the taxpayers pay him. There is not a single exception (unless the money comes from a foreign entity, when every single dollar must be approved by Congress). Before the 45th, every single POTUS abided by that. For instance, when Obama was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize, he accepted the nomination but refused the mega Euro money. Carter, before him, moved his entire peanut company into a trust fund. And so on. In comes the most extraordinary US con man in history. He claims that if he does not accept his salary, as stipulated by the Constitution, he can accept whatever he wants. In 2016, his "empire" consisted of some 500 companies, maany of them abroad, with China, Saudi Arabia, and Russia at the top of the list. What a list of countries to take bribes from. Yeah, that's the guy we want to run this country! Of course, he did not put any of those foreign hotels, golf courses, or similar assets into a trust fund. On the contrary, he expanded them all. I'm not surprised if you haven't heard about how even his own Secret Service had to pay rent for all the places they had to stay. It's all Fake News because your Supreme Leader said so, not to mention the marked-up prices that foreign delegations had to pay when they "visited" the US. Often not even staying there, just for the reservation. -- Conning people is easy. You just need to overcome their intelligence. But convincing people they've been conned is much harder. You need to overcome their pride. ... --- Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; sv-SE; rv:1.9.1.5) Gecko/20091121 * Origin: news://eljaco.se:4119 (2:203/2) .
