That's what I'm assuming; that other members of the forum will bail out the sacrificial lamb, as long as he held his end of the bargain.

The WEF isn't a typical chamber of commerce summit. They like money, but they aren't centered on it. I don't doubt that they would ruin a member's business in favor of achieving their collective goal.
