Yes, I think it is.  They are voicing a lack of confidence in their current PM
and requested an 
election.   I am not sure of the procedure, so it may be that the petition she
has is "for show" only 
and won't have much affect.  That said, in Canada they have various ways where
a new election can 
be requested. 

IIRC, the last time it happened, it was Trudeau and his party that pushed it in
hopes of getting 
more seats.  They actually wound up losing seats but he somehow managed to get
reappointed as 
PM despite the loss.

I don't think it is just people from India.  From what little I have picked up,
it sounds like they were 
bringing in Muslims from the middle east and Africa which, in turn, backfired
on them because they, 
like conservative Christians, don't care for some of the things the public
schools are trying to pass 
off as "education."   Oooops.

Some are.  The few we get that post here probably are not.
