My wife is latina also and she don't know what Latinx means. I'm gonna explain it to her the way you explained it to me.

My wife is kind of a hipster but she's very smart. She taught me to be a positive thinker, to be a conservative, and to always, always vote against
Democrats. She can't vote because she's a resident so I'm always voting for two people (wouldn't it be great if she became a citizen?)

The mass importation of illegals isn't going to appeal to very many latino voters. When people start to accidentally conflate honest latinos with illegals, and I'm sure it's already happening, the honest latinos aren't gonna appreciate it.
