Careful, once your message makes the rounds here, there might be some that claim there is a "defund the fire department" movement afoot. There have been some consolidations of fire dep0arments going on here because the volunteer departments can no longer find volunteers. Being a volunteer firefighter apparently does not appeal as much to the current generations as it used to. As a result, the smaller volunteer departments are either consolidating into one, or the areas they covered are being turned over to nearby professional departments -- who may or may not have the personnel resources to be stretched to those areas. $$ --- SBBSecho 3.20-Linux * Origin: capitolcityonline.net * Telnet/SSH:2022/HTTP (1:2320/105) .
