You know as well as I do that you will never wear those sneakers
in public. I do not doubt you would pay $400 for them (new), but
would most defininely question your sanity if you were to be so
stupid as to ruin them by wearing them in public. Especially since
the minimum value of those sneakers (new) is worth $7500+ today.

OTOH you could be the stupidest person in Fidonet ...
