I do not believe the phrase "human-caused" is appropriate as most people who
even took a little science in school know that the climate changes on its own.

"Human-enhanced" would be more appropriate.  Again, anyone who took a little
science (or history) knows that the "Dust Bowl" was caused by severe drought
which was enhanced by poor human practices that increased soil erosion.  They
also know that other poor practices have lead to such things as "urban heat
islands."
