Indeed.  His legal team is arguing that the President should be above the
people and have wide-sweeping immunity very similar to that of a King or
despot.  As we were trying to start a new nation after a bad experience
living under such a situation, there is no way in Hell that the framers of
the Constitution meant for that to be the case.
