I am not sure but, last I checked, I could still buy it on Amazon, unlike
some Dr. Seuss titles.

In the elementary school libraries, it is probably considered too violent
for kids to read... while it is ok for them to read graphic depections of
sex acts (well, so long as they are not hetero acts).
