Election day means election day. Why make excuses for them?

Think of it this way:
$today = 07232023;
$electionDay = 11032020;
 if ($today !== 11032020){
  echo "It's too late to vote.";} else {
   echo "Your vote has been accepted!";}

That's how our system works, or, workED until pesky Trump needed to be removed.
