Subj : GARLAND IMPEACHMENT To : Ron L. From : Lee Lofaso Date : Wed Jul 05 2023 20:13:25 Hello Ron, IJ>> I try to show the same restraint for both sides... I see what Schiff IJ>> did while he was in office as being a HUGE crime... While he was in IJ>> office no less... Is there somewhere in the constitution that states IJ>> you can sideline a representative because he's a criminal... NOPE there IJ>> isn't... RL> Yes, there is. I posted that in a previous message. RL> Plus there's the impeachment process - which can be used against a sitting RL> congress-critter as well as a President. RL> And, of course, there's the Recall process. I do not know if you have a reading comprehension problem, or that you simply have not bothered to read a copy of the US Constitution. Perhaps the problem is that you have never read it. Which might explain why that makes you the stupidest dumbfuck in fidonet. I hate to bust your bubble, but according to the US Constitution (the real one) only the President, the Vice President, and all civil officers can be impeached and removed from office. US Representatives and US Senators cannot be impeached, although they can be expelled by their own respective members. You might want to brush up on your reading skills, as well as learning how to comprehend what you read. RL> But, by design, those processes have checks and balances to prevent one side RL> from using the legal system against a sitting gov't rep for political RL> purposes. Pleasse. Quit blabbering nonsense. The US Constitution provides that the House of Representatives "shall have the sole Power of Impeachment" (Article I, Section 2), and "the Senate shall have the sole Power to try all Impeachments ..." Now do put on your reading glasses and do your own homework. For Life, Lee -- Laying Pipe Since '88 --- MesNews/1.08.05.00-gb * Origin: news://eljaco.se:4119 (2:203/2) .
