I cannot disagree with that. I didn't mind wearing one because I was not doing any heaving lifting. I have worn them before while doing strenous activities (like cutting down a tree or mulching grass) but I could take breaks and remove the mask. I would like to think they do at least a little something. I always wore mine when I was supposed to and am one of the few people I know who either didn't get COVID at all, or got such a mild case I never noticed. However, as your article is from the NY Times, which is usually considered a credible source by those to the left of center, that makes one wonder if it was all for naught. > Today's Lesson is for the PUSU crowd.. > Source: The New York Times > Title: The Mask Mandates Did Nothing, Will Any Lessons Be Learned? > Url:https://www.nytimes.com/2023/02/21/opinion/do-mask-mandates-work.html >I have heard of people getting into car accidents due to fainting due to xygen >restriction. That can sure happen, but it makes me wonder if they were wearing the mask correctly to begin with and also what other health issues they might already have had. They really never bother me that much, but I also don't wear them while driving and especially would not do so on a hot day. As Ron points out, it does not really make sense to wear one when you are in a car alone, but some people (taxi and ride-sharing drivers, for example) are not usually alone. * SLMR 2.1a * Float on a river, forever and ever, Emily...Emily... --- SBBSecho 3.14-Linux * Origin: capitolcityonline.net * Telnet/SSH:2022/HTTP (1:2320/105) .
