That is not true.  Masks worked to reduce the infection rate to
uninfected people and to reduce the infection rate from infected people.

Wrong again.  The vaccines did suppress covid.  They had an effective
rate of more than 90%.

While that is true, it does mean that for those who are vaccinated the
seriousness of the covid infection is less than that for those who were
not infected.  At the height of the pandemic, the death rate of
the unvaccinated was about 7 times that of the vaccinated.

The flaw in that statement is that to obtain natural immunity requires
getting infected with covid. Even if that statement were true, obtaining
natural immunity for all would have resulted in millions of deaths more
than getting immunity through vaccination.
